The Luton DART runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, connecting Luton Airport Parkway station to the terminal.

Service frequency:

  • Peak times (06:00–09:30 and 14:00–18:00): Every 4 minute.
  • Daytime off-peak: Every 7 minutes
  • Night service (22:00–04:00): 4–6 times per hour

The journey takes just 4 minutes, and your advance ticket is valid on any DART service throughout your travel day – giving you flexibility if your plans change.

No — Luton DART runs independently from National Rail, operating 24/7 even during rail strikes or disruptions.

If Luton Airport Parkway station is closed:

  • DART still runs normally between Parkway and the airport terminal

  • Use the DART entrance on Kimpton Road (LU2 0NB) for drop-offs and pick-ups

  • Your advance DART ticket remains valid

Important: Even if you can't get to Parkway by train, DART will still get you between Parkway and the terminal. Just arrange alternative transport to Kimpton Road.

DART takes a break on December 25-26 only (the railway station is closed).

The airport remains fully open — you'll just need to travel directly to the terminal by car, taxi, or bus instead. Normal DART service resumes December 27th.
